How Risk Managers can add value to important Sustainability Projects

The ESG (Sustainability) landscape is full of exciting new challenges and risks for any organisation, and the risk manager has a vital role to play in this journey.

We are delighted to announce that, following a concise overview of the Lhoist Group and its ambitious sustainability vision, Thomas Tagnit, winner of the 2024 Jo Willaert Award and Vice President Group Finance at Lhoist, will present the CalCC project (decarbonisation of a lime plant) and how he was involved in it. He will also explain how insurance can de-risk this project, which we are sure will be of great interest to all of us. Finally, he will give his view on ESG risks and how he is preparing the risk management practice to this new environment.
