BELRIM and Vanbreda Risk and Benefits Exchange – International Mobility – 2025 Gallery

International mobility is like a box of chocolates – you never know what you’re going to get.

On 24 April 2025, BELRIM and Vanbreda Risk and Benefits welcomed more than 60 participants to the exchange on the risks of international mobility in the “sweet” setting of Chocolate Nation, the largest Belgian chocolate museum in the world, in the centre of Antwerp.

Expert speakers from Vanbreda Risk and Benefits,Sara Brants, Isabel Matthijs, Isabel De Wolf, Erwin Minsaer and Erik Blankaerts provided valuable insights into the applicable legislation, potential risks, and risk mitigation solutions for employees travelling internationally.

Expats, detached workers, temporary travellers, remote workers and (international) trainees all have unique needs, for which standard insurance solutions often fail to provide an adequate level of protection. It is therefore important that tailored solutions can be implemented to meet the specific needs of these different types of travellers.

The exchange was followed by a networking reception, and all participants went home with some chocolate delights from Chocolate Nation.
