The Belgian Evening, organizZA4H1039ed in the framework of the Ferma Forum Maastricht, was a very successful event. Nearly 200 guests enjoyed a memorable evening at La Butte aux Bois in Lanaken.

Gaëtan Lefèvre, Chairman, welcomed everyone to this traditional BELRIM event and the Ferma Forum and after some historical facts concerning Maastricht and Europe, he wished to highlight the following elements:

  • The set up of our Scientific Committee as an opportunity to promote and to support the profession of Risk Manager
  • Partnership: the only way to develop a balanced relationship between the concerned parties (customers, brokers, insurers but also loss adjusters)
  • Belrim and Narim strongly believe in the power of networking across borders of nationality and specialty. The Ferma Forum is the ideal opportunity to strengthen existing relationships and create new contacts in a professionally challenging atmosphere.

The BELRIM Prize was awarded to Laurien Van der Meerssche and Julie Van Heghe as well as to Gil Delcour.

An excellent show-cooking buffet and plenty of opportunities to network were the other key ingredients of the evening.
